About Me

Md Manirul Islam is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Director of Institute of Continuing Education at American International University-Bangladesh. He also holds the position of Director, Network Operations Center and is the lead architect of his university’s Data Center and Network Infrastructure. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from University of Baguio, Philippines and master's degree in Networking and Systems Administration from Charles Sturt University, Australia.

He is a certified Cisco Instructor Trainer and holds several industry certifications in the track of networking and system administration. Mr. Manirul earned numerous national and international accolades and is the winner of Cisco Networking Academy BeTheBridge award. He has several journal publications, and his research interest lies in the areas of Cybersecurity, IoT, and Big Data Analytics.
